FAQ’s
What should I wear?
This is a "water sport". Wear something you don’t mind getting wet. If you are participting in your first 3 FREE paddles don’t go out and buy something new until your sure you want to join. Cotton gets heavy when wet so dress in something that won’t weigh you down. Dress for the weather. We do paddle all year around. Winter requires a few more layers. Gloves are nice but not necessary. Bring something dry to change into after practice.
When should I arrive for a practice?
If this is your first time paddling you will need to fill out a waiver. The waiver is also available to download off this site under "Membership". This being said - try to arrive 30 minutes before pushing away from the dock. This will give you an opportunity to sign any necessary paperwork, stretch, get outfitted and receive instruction.
How much is membership?
After your first 3 FREE paddles membership is $100 per year. This amount is pro-rated based on the time of year you join.
